How to Care for Your Bamboo Clothing

1) Washing Bamboo Clothing

• Use a cold, gentle machine cycle.
• Choose a mild detergent. Avoid bleach and fabric softeners — they can damage the fibres and reduce softness over time.
• Wash with like colours. Darks with darks, lights with lights.
• Delicates bag helps. It reduces friction and keeps your pieces looking newer for longer.

2) Drying Your Bamboo Pieces

• Skip the tumble dryer. Heat can shrink or weaken bamboo fibres.
• Dry flat in the shade. This helps your garment keep its shape and drape, and protects the colour.

3) Creases & Refreshing (No Ironing)

Our bamboo is naturally crease-resistant — and our garments are finished to resist pilling — so heavy ironing isn’t necessary.

• Do not iron.
• To refresh, steam lightly or simply hang in the bathroom while you shower and let the gentle steam release any creases.

4) Storing Bamboo Clothing

• Fold, don’t hang (especially knits). Folding helps prevent stretching at the shoulders.
• Store clean garments away from direct sunlight to protect colour and fabric integrity.

5) About Pilling (Totally Normal)

All soft fibres can show a little surface fluff with wear — it’s natural and depends on friction. Our fabrics have an anti-pilling finish to help, and any light pills can be removed gently with a fabric comb.

• Cool iron on reverse if required.
• Store flat and handle with care to preserve the shape.
