GIVE YOUR BAMBOO CLOTHES A HAND
We always recommend hand washing your bamboo clothing, or if not, choosing a cold, gentle machine wash using a natural detergent.
EXTRA PROTECTION
Give your bamboo extra protection by washing your outfits in a washing bag, and avoid washing your items with other abrasive fabrics such as denim, zippers, and Velcro, which can cause pilling on your beautiful outfit.
IT’S SOFT ENOUGH
Bamboo clothing is already buttery soft, so while we don’t think you will be tempted to use fabric softener in your washing, this is a gentle reminder to definitely NOT do that. It’s not only not great for your clothes, but also not great for the environment, or your washing machine!
INSIDE OUT AND UPSIDE DOWN
Wash your bamboo clothing inside out, and line dry in the shade on a clothes hanger, rather than using pegs on a clothes line that could leave marks.

DO I NEED TO IRON BAMBOO CLOTHES?
Bamboo is low maintenance and is generally crease-resistant. Hanging or steaming your bamboo clothes should be enough to get minor creases out.
FOLDED, HANGING, OR ON THE WASHING CHAIR?
No judgement if you have a wore-it-once pile on a chair, table, or in the corner. We all do! But it’s not the best place to keep your bamboo clothing. We recommend neatly folding your bamboo clothes to minimise wrinkles and prevent any stretching, which could happen if you items are left to hang for too long.
